25A What's Next?

Existing Market

Step 1:  I think the next endeavor for my venture will be to infiltrate into the international market

Step 2: All three interviewees, who closely resembled my venture were forward saying the development phases may be longer than expected. One interviewee stated it would take a decade to penetrate all the states within the United States. The second interviewee stated, it would take 15 or more years to penetrated the international market. The third interviewee stated, patience is the most important aspect when build a business from ground-up. She stated there will be delays and mishaps that where not added within your business outlook that unexpectedly can maneuver you off your tracks. According to the interviewees I covered all avenues in relation to planning the venture. However, they informed customers will be looking for an app and website easier for registration and keeping up on the daily operations of the business.

Step 3: In the near future my business will have to small offices in use. The other offices will have to wait until adequate amount of finances are available to cover the necessary expenditures.  All the necessary offices supplies may not be present due to inadequate of funds as a non-profit agency.

The employees will be few-to-many and operate mostly if not all on a part-time schedule. Disallowing your responsibilities for full-time benefits. Volunteers are a must to balance out the work-to-pay scale.

New Market

Step1: A radically different market is an affluent celebrity market.

Step 2: Celebrities will primarily be my investors and can act as motivational speakers during select events.

Step 3: As stated previously due to the support in other non-profit organizations, celebrities were always willing to offer and assist in bettering their former communities or just contribute to making a difference in society entirely.

Step 4: In this new market I learn celebrity will be great investors. Also, I learned celebrities are always willing to help in communities. What surprised me the most is that celebrities were born in some of these underserviced neighborhoods.

Yes, my assumptions that celebrities will pay invest were correct. However, this new market is not as attractive as my existing market. I feel the existing market has more components to it.

  1. Hi Candice. I really, really love the celebrity market as the new market. That’s really cool. As someone who will soon be famous (mark my words), I think that this idea would be a really awesome thing. A lot of celebrities choose different ways to help the communities and convincing them that this is a good idea would probably be pretty easy. Again, I think you are getting mixed up a little bit of which your markets are though; are they the investors or the people you are helping? That keeps mixing me up.

  2. Hi Candice! I invite you to play with imagination for this assignment like when we created the avatar. "Few-to many," is vague. I challenge you to commit to specific numbers and then see how your intention for your project changes. Good work.
